The story behind this turtle
The speculatively largest freshwater turtle in the world inhabits broad rivers in South Asia. Buried in fine sand, it waits for passing fish, which are snapped by its impressively fast snatch. The catch itself cannot be perceived by the human eye, as it is as fast as the flapping of a hummingbird's wings.
